It’s the third time I stage Macbeth, and for the third time in a complete different set with a different adaptation.

This text keeps on fascinating me because it is one of the most spiritual pieces of poetry ever written. During all these years “the black play” is unveiling more and more his secrets. An allegoric nightmare, a tale told by an idiot about life and death, and the inappeasable need for non-solitude, for togetherness. A heart breaking fight against the power of nature, of destiny.
